4/26/10 - Just this last February my clients were split on buying a better and newer home versus a home of older age and condition but that home was in just the right place.

They were stuck. I called the agent for the home in the right area and asked if they would throw in a warranty to help me help them make a choice and she agreed to a full HWA warranty.

I called the other homes agent and the owners didn't want to help my homeowner protect against a sudden expense and declined helping my client.

That was all they needed - they chose the home in the area they wanted because it was safe to move forward. Sometimes thinking about adding value to a home isn't adding hardwood floors. It's adding sleep at night to a buyer. I have received 3 referrals, all purchase clients, who want the same treatment. For those clients, I'll just get it for them!
