I have been offering and using HWA warranties for years. It has become a staple in my listing presentation toolbox and I encourage all my sellers to list their home offering the warranty. In fact, I make it a no-brainer choice for them because I participate in the cost. I order the warranty when the home is listed for seller coverage. Therefore, it makes the house easier to sell for me (benefit) and both seller and buyer get an added bonus (benefit).

There are a lot of features that make HWA stand apart from other Home Warranty Companies. Number 1 is the customer service, in 3 years of use I have not one time had a rude service rep nor was I treated as if I owed the customer service rep something. Number 2 I have not had any issues getting repairs completed by the contractors they have engaged Number 3 They don't just contact me when they want my business I hear from HWA on a regular basis and even received a handwritten thank you note from my market rep Kristen Burns (she didn't ask me for more business, she just thanked me for the business she has received) Number 4 this home warranty is good for 13 months and Number 5 I have the option to waive my 'sales fee' and apply to the clients bottom line which gives them an even better value. Thank you Home Warranty of America!

We had problems with our refrigerator and as we called and reported the problem, Bob was the repairman, he came out very professional ordered the part, installed and the problem was solved! Very please from beginning to the end!! thank you!
I want to officially recognize the efforts of Kenya Stewart, your customer representative, for the courteous and expedient manner in which he handled a service required for my air-conditioner (whole house.) He listened to my reasoning (see below) and contacted the proper department on my behalf. He just phoned me with the wonderful news that a reimbursement check was enroute to me! Here is the jist of my call to him: Kenya, we also discussed my air-conditioner issue in that on Monday, August 24th, my A/C went on the blitz in the heat of triple digit temps for my area (AZ.) I realized HWA couldn't get someone out here that day and contacted a highly recommended and honest contractor who was able to come out that afternoon. Upon inspection, the capacitor needed to be replaced and the service tech also said it looked like my old thermostat may need replacing. As he literally walked out my front door...the thermostat went blank and quit working. The tech went and got a new Honeywell thermostat for my system, came back to my house and installed it too. This is the reason for the two invoices attached; $188+ on the capacitor and $130 on the thermostat for a total of $318 and change. To reiterate, I would of course normally gone through HWA but with my health conditions (heart & diabetes) it was imperative to get someone here that day. Since the unit went out in the early afternoon, I realized that there would be no way for HWA to get it serviced that same afternoon. The 2 invoices are attached for your consideration. Kenya, I would appreciate you checking into any reimbursement possibilities and get back to me via email as soon as you can. This representative and the manner in which he handled my issue was wonderful and he is the type person you definitely want to be the voice of HWA! Again, my thanks to HWA and especially to Kenya Stewart!!
