Home Warranty of America Creates High-Value Multi-Year Home Warranty Plans for Phoenix Homeownership Assistance Program

The City of Phoenix has launched a Homeownership Assistance Program to assist buyers of foreclosed properties, and ultimately help stabilize Phoenix neighborhoods under the national Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP).

One of the requirements of this program is the inclusion of a three-year Home Warranty plan on each eligible property, which is provided at no cost to the home buyer. Three-year plans did not exist prior to NSP inception so Home Warranty of America, Inc. created two high-value plans that would not only meet the program needs, but also provide exceptional coverage and protection for the home buyers.

"We were excited to team up with the City of Phoenix to create Home Warranty plans that support the Homeownership Assistance Program and benefit the community as they work toward stabilizing Phoenix neighborhoods. As innovators in the home warranty business we continually look for ways to enhance our offerings to meet the ever-changing needs of our customers and the marketplace, and supporting this initiative gave us the opportunity to meet that goal," stated Marc Roth, CEO and President of HWA.

"It gives us a great sense of pride and accomplishment to work with the City of Phoenix who has recognized the importance of having a home warranty on each home purchased through this program, and the security and peace of mind it will give the buyers during the first few years of owning their new home," says David Sobel, Vice President of Sales for HWA.

Title III of the Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008 appropriates funds under the Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) to use for the purchase and redevelopment of foreclosed properties.
